Shurley English

I have been using Shurley Method with my first and second graders for five years. It is an awesome program that makes learning the parts of speech easy and fun! My first graders knew prepositional phrases-it was amazing! I also see the positive affect Shurley has in their writing. They are able to make a strong connection with English and writing. What is really neat to see is a fourth or fifth grade class using it-they go way beyond elementary school skills and are successful with it. Another positive is that the special needs children in your class also catch on. BEst of luck
