Gratitude Board

I used a gratitude board in the back of the classroom (near the drinking fountain) with my 4th grade class. In the beginning of the year I would place a small photo of each student on the board. At the end of each week every student would write one thing that they were grateful for on a strip of paper that would be placed near their photo. By the winter holiday the board was full of some profound insight that the whole class could share and enjoy.
