I came back on Tuesday after being out on Monday. The kids didn't say a word to me about being out. I had to attend an IEP meeting for one of my special ed students and I told the kids that there would be a substitute while I attended. (We have trouble getting subs.) I waited long enough for effect, then I told them that the "substitute" was going to be our school's principal. You should have heard the groans! Ha, ha. I enjoyed that reaction as much as I enjoyed my day "off" on Monday!
