Hi...I understand your feelings. This is a tough issue. Does this child see the school counselor? Also...could you ask 1-2 of your friendly kids..you know, the ones who get along with almost everyone and love school...to be his buddy? For instance, will sit with him at lunch or play with him at recess, etc. If not a 2nd grader, maybe an older kid? Just a thought. Sometimes a leader or two can help another kid be accepted. I'll keep thinking...Good luck.
