Our school day starts at 8:50 a.m. (Teachers are required to be at school no later than 8:30 a.m.) We have two 14 minute recesses during the day. Our lunch hour for the kids starts at 11:40 for grades K to 2 and 11:45 for grades 3 & 4. They have until noon to eat their lunch (which is provided as part of a hot lunch program). They have a lunch recess from 12:00 to 12:28 p.m.
