My school is located in east Texas. Teachers are required to be at school at 7:20 AM if you have morning duty. (We rotate doing morning bus duty.) If you do not have duty, you have to be at school at 7:45 AM. Classes for elementary begin at 7:45, high school begins at 8:00. All classes dismiss at 3:30. We start early because about 95% of our students are on the free breakfast and lunch program. Almost all the students eat breakfast from 7:45 - 8:00.
