length of school day

Teachers are required to be at school at 7:30. Students are required to be in the classroom at 8:00. Students who arrrive after 8:00 are considered to be tardy. The school day officially begins at 8:00 with announcements, then classes begin when the announcements are over. The children pack up at 2:15 and are dismissed at 2:25.
