Thank you all for showing your support. This is just a frustrating time. The legislature has provided the money for our raises, but our governor will not meet to provide a contract (he is a vindictive little you know what).
I wouldn't dream of crossing the line, especially since I have heard that no one will be getting paid (even the scabs) so there are no incentives to cross the line. Besides all schools in the state are shut down so there are no students, so what would I be doing?

It does look like this is going to be a very long strike we have been out 6 school days already and there is no end in sight.

But

on the good side- I am getting tan, and I am getting toned after 6 days walking the line I no longer go home at the end of the day and tell myself that I really should exercise!

Keep thinking of us and keep your fingers crossed that our "educaton governor" will eventually support the teachers.
Aloha!
