I am so sorry for what happened to you. Michelle had some very good things to say. Talk to her...you have the right to know what she is going to say to others. Have a witness with you, if that's one thing I have found out,| that is it!!! Take a trusted college with you...because if your prinicpal is anything like ours, what she says won't matter much if you are the only one to hear it...she will say she never said it. Take the high road...resign with a very nice letter, emphazing your choice to leave the school. I am not sure how much weight a principals say carry with other districts. Officially, I am sure |
| they will have to say something decent or they could be sued, but prinicpals talk to others, and unofficially, I think that they might say things while chatting, ya know? I don't think it looks badly to resign...it could be for a number of reasons...I officially resigned because I needed to relocate so my hubby could go back to college (which is true) unoffically, well, I know the complete truth. Always take the high road and be more professional then they are. You will find another job, I am sure! Document every little meeting ect that concerns her. That could be very important down the road! Best of luck, and let us know how it turns out!
