"Getting Students Organized"

I try to color code everyting. For example, blue math paper to go into their blue folder or blue notebook. Maybe your students will do better with a binder. Punch the holes in the paper and the students place the paper in their binder. Also, I give each student a checklist of what should be in each notebook and have frequent notebook checks, count toward their final grade.
