Thx so much for your response. All that you told me only helped me to further realize that YES... I would do better w/ an older grade!!! I really struggled w/ my teaching semester class because they were too young for me.

Now w/ your input, I can see that my assumptions were correct - an older class gives you a little more breathing room. I could totally relate to all that you said - the younger ones need way more planning, and during the day, you do not get those breathers... and I NEED THEM! I'll be fiddlin' around in a grade 4-5 class then!
