Being Too Busy

I don't want to depress you, but I have 27 years of teaching middle and high school English and one 14 y.o. 8th grade son, and I know from experience that it never lets up. In fact, I have actually accepted 2 student teachers this year in the hopes that I could catch up. Not to happen. I know exactly how you feel. Somehow, I am the coolest, calmest, most empathetic teacher, but when it comes to my son, I flip. He's always been an honor roll student, but the whole life of our family revolves around school. (My husband is a teacher, too.) Good luck!
