We're currently taking standardized tests. The teacher in my room brought in hard candy for the kids to suck on during testing. She didn't know about these studies about brain stimulation. She just brought it in to help keep their throats moist! I told her and the class about the study and she replied: interesting. During testing, several children told me: These really work. I'm doing great! (Power of suggestion here maybe?) My warning is this: be careful with the hard candy. One of our kids almost choked on his today! I nearly flew across the room as I saw him sitting there bug-eyed. Luckily he was able to cough it out before I got to him. Scared me to death!
