standards learning

We, too, were given standards on a huge paper to post on our wall. Thankfully, our principal hasn't gotten the idea to have the kids memorize the standards--yet! LOL I'll be sure to keep quiet and not let him see your posting. This isn't something I would want to start doing! I agree with you. If a kid knows how to do something, then it seems rather pointless to have him memorize what he/she has done. What a waste of time! Better time can be spent learning.
