Brown Bag Activity

On the first day of school, I introduce myself to my students using this activity. In a brown paper bag, I put 7 items (number of items can be adjusted) that tell something about me. The key to this activity is that all seven items must fit in the sack lunch size paper bag. If the items don't fit, then I cut pictures out of magazines or bring in pictures of the items (i.e. a picture of my dog, Biscuit) I give each student a brown bag afterwards and this is their first homework assignment.
