Students who pledge By Not but curious

I am not, but I have students who are in middle school. However, many of them don't tell us. When I think one girl was acting up during the pledge of allegience (looking away, talking) I got onto her and her friend told me that she was Jehovah's witness. I was afraid I would be in trouble with her parents. She must have not told them, because she was angry with her friend for telling me.

Sorry, you probably need support from other teachers because of incidents like this. I hope you can find it.
