The more meaningful the HW is, the more likely my students return it. I send home a weekly packet on Monday & it's returned on Friday. I send home activities that we've done in class that student's can teach their parents (fact families, target games, number sentences with a story, etc.) I get 99% return and I teach 2nd grade in a very low-economic area.
