Hi! I am a first year teacher and had the same worries. I have been told by "veteren" teachers that they expect us to be out and not to worry. We haven't built up an immune system like they have. For many of us all these "kid" germs are really foreign. Double check with a mentor like teacher or the principal to make sure, but they are your days and as long as you have plans for a sub, you should be fine.
