Multipication Motivation

As I was student teaching, my teacher gave me a great idea! Create a bulletin board- with all of the ingredients for an ice cream sundae. Once the students master the 1x then they can get a spoon, 2x they get a bowl, 3x a scoop of vanilla, 4x scoop of chocolate, 5x chocolate sauce, 6x some whip cream, etc... Then finally have an ice cream social. The students will make their sundae with whatever they earned by knowing their math facts.
