Getting mad
By Lisa

Clip to ScrapBook
Sure, we all get mad and frustrated, especially as first years. We need to vent. I do it often. I just hope you're not mad all the time. You sound very irritated by a lot of things. Maybe you need to step back, calm
down, and find some ways to deal with the issues you are facing. Why not ask those positive people how they stay so positive? They probably have a ton of advice, and aren't just cliched. You need to find a support system somewhere in the school. Someone who you know you can vent to and will get good feedback from. In my grade level, I have two teacher who I love going to for advice.
I have one who will just respond by telling me how frustrated she is, and how her former schools did everything. And I have one who will just lecture me about how I'm not managing my classroom well enough (even though she has rarely seen my class and has neglected to notice how well I'm doing). You have to find those people who you can talk to and will make you feel better. If you can hold in that venting until you are with the people you know will help and not just give cliches, you will feel much better.

Wow, that was long too
