Body Piercing
By princess357

Clip to ScrapBook
Personally, I think that having a tattoo and/or piercing is a great way for the children to learn about diversity. People do dress differently, and eventually they are going to run into people who have a surprising amount
of tattoos/body piercings, or both! I am 20, I have 6 earrings in one ear, and 3 in the other, and also my tounge pierced. Although I usually only wear 1 set of earrings, I do wear my tounge ring. I was hired after having it done (and yes, I wore it to the interview), and I still have the job today. Not once have I heard an upper or a parent complain. Although I teach Transition (2
and half year olds) the kids do ask questions, and I just answer them breifly, but honestly. Kids need to learn at a young age that body piercing, tattoos, and any other accessories and/or fashions are OK, and the people who support them are just like everyone else.
