exchanging papers
By Becky

Clip to ScrapBook
This seems like a good idea, but because of confidentialty restrictions, you might want to rethink this practice. When we grade papers in my class, I have the students put away all pencils and erasers, pass out red pens, and have the students grade their own. As long as the students see that you are monitoring them closely, they will be honest in grading their own work. This achieves the same purpose, but avoids violating the students' right to confidentiality.
