Open Court

I have reviewed the Open Court program and our school will also be implementing it next year. It is very structured and has a strong emphasis on phonics. Language arts and spelling are integrated into the reading program. It also has an inquiry/research component that I have not really seen in the other reading programs. I really like it and am looking forward to using it. Let me know how it goes - I'm curious to see how the students like it. (I teach 2nd gr. too.)
