A few years ago I taught middle school. I hated every minute of it because the kids were so rude and disorderly. I took seven "sick" days off that year, mostly because I thought I was having a nervous breakdown from all of the stress of the job. The unsympathetic gym teacher said that I took too many days off! There are people out there who act like there's nothing wrong with the world. You know otherwise. I would just ignore their annoying positive platitudes and vent with someone who will truly listen--like us! Have a great weekend!
