Ann is still on
By JulieP

Clip to ScrapBook
From the information that I could gather, Ann Landers addresses will still accept letters, just no packages or odd shaped envelopes. If I find out more, I will let you know.

If you are unsure about sending cards this way, you may want to check with a local military base or reserve unit to see if your class can adopt some of the soldiers that are stationed or assigned there. Then cards can be created and dropped off without envelopes. Or you could invite some of them to come have lunch with your class.

Also remember Veterans Day on November 11. Maybe your students can create posters for the American legion or other veterans organizations.
