This is my first time visiting this site. I'm enjoying the dialogue that is being encouraged between everyone. Regarding tattoos and piercings, I have have a few tattoos, a navel piercing and several in my ears. I also feel that I dress very perfessional and strive to present myself in a professional manner. Recently my shirt was caught on a chair, exposing my low back, where I have a large colorful dragon tattoo. One of my third grade students innocently mentioned that I had marker on my back. I thanked him and he never mentioned it again. I now wear mens muscle t-shirts (small), they are long enough that they don't come untucked. I feel I have taken all the precautions I can, to not expose myself to gossip or un-needed harrassment from parents.
