grading By vera

I've taught combination classes, 6 subjects a
day for each grade or 12 subjects, and grading
assignments can be time comsuming to the point
of impossible.
I give students a time limit in class to complete an assignment...then I have them exchange
papers and correct a partner's paper as we
review and discuss the answers. After grading,
their immediate assignment is to rework any problem they missed and turn in the completed, paper with attached, reworked corrections. I still have to check papers, but this helps me get
work back quicker..and students get immediate feedback on their work.
