I've been feeling pretty stressed and out-of it myself lately, and it's not even my first year. Tonight I was kind of beating myself up about my shortcomings, but I read something great on the Vent II board. It's the NEW SURVIVOR post. It won't solve the behavior problems in our classrooms. It won't give us more time or less paperwork or shorter days or fewer duties or more supportive collegues and parents. It will, however, give you laugh (I hope). It really picked me up! Click on over there and check it out. It's worth a try. I hope tomorrow is a better day. And by the way, I've found a good night's sleep -- truly a rare commodity -- helps put things in perspective.
