Mental health day?

Call me old fashioned. Just call me old!!! Maybe it was the way I was brought up. You go to school unless you are ill. What happens if everyone is stressed and you all decide to take a mental health day together? At my inner city school in a very tough area we are all stressed but people only take time off when they are ill because they know everyone is stressed out. We do give each other lots of collegiate support by exiting a child to another teacher if we feel we have just had enough. I still say a day off does not solve the original problem. It is going to take discussion and lots of support. Grace
Ps I have just had a pig of a day from start to finish- stressed and disillusioned, but I'll be back again tomorrow trying to win the battle all over again.
