Thank you for all of the ideas, and even though it sounds crazy...I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having this problem. We have just had progress reports, and there are so many students in our mini-school that have failed two or more subjects. While they were in my class, I had a talk with them. I told them that they are responsible for their grades and we can not grade work that is not there!!! I also told them that I was really surprised at some of the names ect, and that teachers want students to pass, but they have to do thier part. I don't know if it sunk in to thier little heads, I guess this is why teachers need to be creative!!!
