Yes, these are pieces that are bisque fired and ready for colors or whatever, but you know how expensive and complicated glazes can be, and nobody wants to waste $$ on elementary kids. (I do K-12.) So do you know of any techniques that involve re-firing? Like, maybe get some leaves and gesso them to the bisque and fire 'em again? Or would varnish without firing be better? Or do you know what happens when you refire something that has been painted with tempera? Maybe hot glue would make a neat wax-release type of thing, or maybe another kind of paint refires better, or something. So you see what I mean, right? Thanks again, I will use your idea!!
