If your earrings look nice wear them.

If your tattoo shows when you reach for the top shelf -- be wary of it. The only time I think it would come up would be if little Jenny tells mom "Miss Teachy has a tattoo on her backside."
Then mom might want to know how the girl found out, etc.

Personally, I don't worry about what other people are wearing -- as long as they don't have on slacks that slide down and show their BUTT CRACK!

I ditched the earrings when I had babies -- they tended to yank on them. As for tattoos, I am nearly forty and have thought about getting one. Cher has got to be fifty something and she had tattoos way before they became mainstream.

And remember, you never know what the older gals have under their slips either.
