Interactive Notebooks

By all means - your students need to see visual examples of what exactly you want, especially if they've never used them before. I put up examples on the board and even keep a sample notebook for them to generate ideas from. We've discussed plagerism, so they don't generally copy. Still, many need something to get them going. Here's a thread on PT that has some really good ideas. Also, the other link I got off that site for a ppt that is wonderful to introduce the idea to the kids as well as share with parents.
