Moo-moo By WHY?

I understand about bending and reaching (and even children lifting clothing) now that you say that you teach kindergartners. I have to admit the moo-moo remark made me laugh! I guess if we'd all establish moo-moos as dress| code, we'd eliminate the problem -- ratty tennis shoes, sweats and all! Thank you for the chuckle. At this late hour, I needed it. I guess the point I was trying to make is this. How can a person who thinks they have been judged by how they look, judge others for they way they look? I don't think it's fair to assume a person is weird or freaky based on tattoos and/or piercing. | | But neither do I think it's fair to assume that an "older" teacher (whether based on age or experience) is old-fashioned, out-of-date, or even someone a child cannot relate to. Don't you have grandparents who love you and whom you love? That was my only point. It certainly sounds as if you value your chosen profession and value your students as well. I am sure your students love you very much. Remember, there are always people who are going to stand around wagging their tongues about someone else. I assume that your administrators consider you a professional -- after all they hired you -- right? Good luck, Jenna, and don't ever stop arguing for those things you think are right!
