Ex con working in school By Mrs.Northman
|
| The school I teach at has decided to hire a man who is currently on probation. He was released from jail last year after his 7th conviction. One is for sexual assault, the others for drunken driving. No one at my building seems to have an issue with this. I do not think he is a predator to the children. I do feel that educators are supposed to live at a higher standard. Also, I am afraid this will allow for other convicts to be hired in our district. I believe people deserve chances in life, but does his chance at a career need to be working with children? What do you think? Am I totally wrong?
