Clip to ScrapBook
Ok I am a college student and I know that by the end of the day everyone is ready to get out of school. Usually teachers are too. This is especially bad on Friday. I work at a camp and at a child development center. What
I found that works is at the beginning of the year get enough buttons or marbles (or whatever you want to use) for one for every person in the classroom (including you) for every Friday (you could do this for every day but that would be a lot of buttons) and put them into a container. Every Friday pass the container around with another container (mark them past and future) and have
each student say one thing that they learned or really liked, while they move a button from the future container into the past container. This calms them down, (especially if the lights are out) and helps them to think about what they are learning.
