Same problem
By Jessica

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi. I don't really have any suggestions for you, but I'm curious to find out how other teachers get their students to turn in work because I have the same problem as you. I teach sixth grade, and I'm trying to teach the
students to be responsible, but I constantly have to remind them to turn their homework in. In the morning, I walk past everyone's desk and checkoff if their homework is not done. Then as soon as I'm finished I either ask them to pass their homework forward to be collected or take it themselves to the homework trays. Either way, I have several missing assignments each day from students
who have the work done and don't turn it in. It is so annoying to have to remind them constantly. I have started looking in their desks for the homework. (It's usually sitting right on top of everything) Why don't they turn it in?
