Place Value Wheel

I just dug out from my files a place value wheel for a couple of students who needed extra help with this concept. The wheel came from someone else but I'll try to explain what they are. Out of tag the students cut out 4 copied circles with numbers 1-9 on each of them. Also on the tag is a rectangle that is also cut out. The circles are attached to the back all in a row with brads. The circles are turned to the "window" on the rectangle and they reveal a number. I think this may have come from Mailbox or Teacher Created Materials or something like that. My third graders really like the wheel and I like that it is not too big of a waste of time. Hope this helps.
