For art have students create their own dragon with watercolors or as a collage. You can have them tell a little about their dragon to extend the activity. For math center get a bag of large sequins and two dice. Game players roll the dice, add the numbers together and write down their answer. The person with the largest sum takes a "dragon scale". Winner is the one with the most scales. For social studies discuss dragon legend in history. See if you can find a couple of other dragon stories that illustrate how dragons were viewed historically. For science talk about how dragons are similar to and different from dinosaurs.
