idea for videotaped lesson (NYS)

Hi, maybe you could incorporate a math activity with a trade book -- such as Grandfather Tang's Story by Ann Tompert and then have a tangram activity to go along with it. That way you could have a hands-on activity in your lesson -- which I think would be good to show on the videotape. I did my taping a couple of years ago. It's nice to have it over and done with, so I wish you good luck
