I sure do understand where you're coming from. I had a Principal just like that. She NEVER had anything positive to say. I thought I would never make it through the year, but I did just because of the kids. I resigned and looked for another job. I ended up being a sub for a year, but it was worth it because I got to see so many great schools, be in so many grade levels, and gain so many wonderful ideas. It made me believe in education again. To make a long story short, I now have a great job in a wonderful school, with 3 very supportive pricipals who have nurturing spirits. They do exists, believe it or not. I hope you find one. Just remember, it's not you. Good luck!
