You can do it!! are you from Alaska? I'm an ASD teacher. Have you heard of Fr. Michael Oleksa? He is wonderful, lots of resources for teachers learning to live in native villages. I'm not sure how to get in touch with him but I bet the Native Heritage Center people in Anchorage could assist...perhaps he can get you some materials to offer insights, etc. into village dynamics. (I'm making an assumption here that you are new to Native villages, if you aren't, I apologize)Everyone I know says you need to actively search out help...keep it up!!! the year is young, things are always hard for first year teachers, even in schools similar to those they went to as children! good luck
