Crockpot applesauce
By Linda/2/NJ

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi! I've made applesauce in a crock pot for at least 5 years with the kids. After washing, peeling, coring, and cutting the apples, (I use a crank apple peeler/corer that cuts the prep time dramatically.), you add them to the crock pot & cook for a few hours. Some people add a little water, although I never have. I also use a potato masher to mush up the apple chunks.

When it's all done, I have cinnamon sugar that the kids may add if it is too sour for them. I prefer it plain myself.

I hope this helps!
