I briefly read your message and totally understand how you feel. I understand that you attended a bad in-service. Although, I did not...I understand the frustrations you have towards getting the NEEDS of your students met. I live in an eskimo village where our awesome spec.ed. teacher is 1/2 time. Imagine! Over half our kids could be labelled special ed. in one form or another BUT only a 1/2 sped. person. She really is awesome, but I worry about these kids like you do and had to write to say 'I understand'. W.
