There is not one method that will solve all students problems. You will have to take them one at a time. With regards to the student you mentioned ; Does he or she get resource? Can the child begin the test during resource time then finish it during your class? Use the resources at your school. What do the other teachers do in such a case? Get advice from the spec. ed. dept. Does the student have a I.E.P.? If you give more info. maybe I can help. Good Luck.
