I know *exactly* what you mean

Clip to ScrapBook
When the year first started it took all of my brain power just to remember when we go to lunch (two minutes late and we're in trouble), when to have attendance to the office, and everything else. I also ask the children to remind me. I have one little girl who really helps me remember things, but the other stuff is just hard. I carry around a clip board so if something is really important I will write it in big letters (maybe even in crayon if that's all I have right then) right on top of whatever else is on my clip board. I doubt that whoever gives you the extra work intends for it to take the place of your teaching, so giving busy work does not seem like a good solution. Good luck pulling it all together.
