children not listening
By BethAnn Weinstein

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach 3 yr olds in a daycare and find that I need to move through books quickly sometimes at circle time and other times the colors of the pages and shortness of words hold their attention. I do have quite a few students that I have to re-direct a few times and then if they persist in not listening I physically move them to a corner of the carpet we sit on. I change my lessons every five minutes when necessary or put on a marching cd or we do clapping this seems to help when all else fails. Hope this helps
BethAnn
