"student teacher party"
By Tabitha

Clip to ScrapBook
When I did my student teaching four years ago I got two wonderful gifts from my two cooperating teachers. The first placement was in second grade. My cooperating teacher, who is now one of my very good friends, had my students
make a video tape telling me why I was going to be a great teacher and a book they made of their favorite time in the class with me. I still have that tape and book, it is a treasure I will always keep. I just taught those students in fifth grade last year. My second cooperating teacher which was for fifth grade had the kids bring in things like above. They brought in chalk, stapler,
staples, pens, pencils, tea for me to drink, and some even gave me chocolate roses. Pretty good for me since they really gave me a hard time. My teacher's wife also hand painted a bag with my name on it and a pin that said "All great minds grow from one special teacher." Each student signed it and I have a wonderful keep sake. I had two great teachers to learn from and I only hope that I will be able to help others become great teachers as well.
