"death of a beloved friend"

My school community just lost a fabulous teacher on Sept. 12th. My deepest symthpathy for your whole school family. I know what they and you are going through. This lady was one of our title one teachers who did everything
she could for the children and the teachers. She was a great friend and teacher. It was real hard for most of my students to take since the tragedy the nation delt with the day before. It was also hard for the adults as well. I know that I have cried a lot for the lose of a dear friend and then for the lose of our nation. I had my students write letters or poems to our lost teacher and

her family. We placed them outside the door of her room as a memorial. When the other teachers went to her sevice this past weekend they took many cards and letters from all our students. We still don't really know how to truely deal with the lose. I know that it will definately be wierd when I walk into her computer room with my kids and she will not be there.
