I'm doing Haiku poetry this week.
By Joyce

Clip to ScrapBook
Here are some of the poems I found.

Fall

Pumpkins, squash, apples-
the colours of falling leaves-
orange, yellow, red.

Winter

Silver icicles
hanging form the snowy roof
jagged monster's teeth.

Spring

The snow has melted.
Little bird inside my heart,
I hear your spring song.

Summer

Picnics in the shade
watermelon cool and red
just picked sweet corn-yummm!

by Bobbi Katz

Haiku doesn't rhyme. It is a Japanese verse form using odd numbers (3 lines, 5 syllables for the 1st and 3rd line, 7 syllables for the 2nd line.)
It is supposed to paint an image of the changes of the seasons.
